An AmiSSL network handler written in C is available for communicating with REST APIs. The author used it in their game G-WARS to handle an online high-score table, also including a simple usage example. A REST API is a method of communication between programs over a network - most commonly via HTTP - where applications send requests to each other and receive data in a structured format (e.g., JSON).
